The Financial Implementation Experts (FIE) group is composed of approximately 100 Commonwealth subject matter experts who support the Program’s Financial Functional workstreams.
Purpose
The FIEs provide input and guidance on design and implementation issues identified by the BEST Program Team throughout the duration of the Program. The subject matter experts are organized by functional area to provide enterprise-wide guidance and deep-dive knowledge during configuration and testing activities.
Members
Representation from across the Commonwealth to identify business requirements for all functional areas. Functions are divided into the following teams:
- Financial Reporting
- Revenue, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management
- Vendor Management, Contract and Encumbrance Management, Accounts Payable
- Budget Management/Project Management (Capital and Federal)
- General Accounting, Payroll Accounting, Cost Allocation
- Debt Management, Capital & Non-Capital Assets
- Labor Cost Distribution
