Beginning in November 2025, Commonwealth financial professionals will be able to build confidence in conducting their day-to-day activities and gain an understanding of new features available in Mosaic through agency training.

Let’s take a look ahead at some of the activities and resources which will be available to prepare our end-users for the transition from MMARS to Mosaic!

Training Timeline

October

Mosaic Fact Sheets will offer quick reference guidance on new features and tools which be available for various business roles within the new solution

November into December

Digital Learning Resources including short, self-paced courses and videos staff can complete anytime at their own pace

Instructor-Led Sessions and Foundational Courses will navigate users through their Day 1 experience with Mosaic with live virtual demonstrations by Commonwealth trainers

December into January Launch

Drop-In Sessions by Functional Area will focus on drilling down into the details and give users direct opportunities to Ask the Experts

Getting Ready Checklists will guide users through logging into Mosaic, bookmarking resources, and key actions items to help them stay informed throughout launch and go live.

In Application Support at your fingertips such as Job Aids available through Quick Links to PowerDMS and the videos through application assistant

Commitment to Accessibility

The BEST Program is committed to the Accessibility of the solution, communications, and training. We have made a conscious effort to engage with enterprise-wide partners from the very beginning of the project.

Accessibility Requirements

Compliance with Section 508 of the Federal Rehabilitation Act, the World Wide Web Consortium’s Web Content Authoring Guidelines, v.2, level AA (WCAG2 Standards)
Required collaboration with the Commonwealth and third-party testers to test accessibility and usability and to mitigate findings during the project
Provide Voluntary Product Accessibility Test (VPAT) or other accessibility testing results for the solution

Program Collaboration

Continued engagement with all disability support agencies to provide feedback through development and implementation
Collaborate with agencies to assess and prioritize problems
In addition to third-party testing, continue to coordinate with agencies for “real-world” testing
