The BEST Program consists of several working groups which support various aspects of the implementation and organizational change.

Financial Implementation Experts (FIEs)

The Financial Implementation Experts (FIE) group is composed of over 70 Commonwealth subject matter experts who support the Program’s Financial Functional workstreams.

Purpose

The FIEs provide input and guidance on design and implementation issues identified by the BEST Program Team throughout the duration of the Program. The subject matter experts are organized by functional area to provide enterprise-wide guidance and deep-dive knowledge during configuration and testing activities.

Points of Contact (POC)

The role of POC is to support communications, information dissemination and on-going feedback between the BEST Program and their agency. POCs also support the following activities:

Technical Points of Contact

The role of TPOC is to support the coordination of input on specific information about the Commonwealth’s systems and how their agency utilizes them. TPOCs also support the following activities:
